Our Ditto replication technology combined with Strip's sync service allows you to easily take backups of your data, and sync your changes back and forth from your desktop and your mobile device. We make use of Apple's Bonjour service discovery technology so that copies of Strip for iOS on your local WiFi network can find Strip on your PC. Or, you can sync from anywhere using Dropbox.

Every time you sync, Strip takes a backup first, just in case something goes wrong. You can find them on the Backups panel, create backups yourself on demand, and revert to any previous version.

Strip lets you arrange your data how you want, instead of providing templates. That flexibility in part comes from our dynamic fields—the labels on each field control how the fields behave when synced over to iOS, e.g. a Website field allows you to launch a URL in Mobile Safari, a Phone field will dial a number on the Phone app. In Strip for Windows you can easily customize your fields while editing your data before you sync to your iOS device.
